Team LCpl Jack “Jt” will be walking/running in honor of LCpl Jack “Jt” Kenner a Marine who served two tours in Iraq.

While in Kirkwood HS, Jack “Jt” Kenner, completed a project for the Lydia House where he resourced a building contractor, donated supplies and helped build a professional playground for the children of this 2yr transitional home for abused mothers with children. My son, Jt also completed his HS required academics early to leave the last 1/2 year of his Senior Year to join the United States Marine Corps, finished 16 grueling weeks of boot camp to walk across the stage of Kirkwood High School to accept his High School Diploma in his Marine Dress Blues. Within one year of becoming a Marine, my son qualified through a grueling 3 day course to become qualified and part of the Scout Sniper Team of the 1/7 Weapons Division, CAAT Red Company stationed Twenty Nine Palms and over the years of 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 completed 2 OIF Tours in Iraq.

His nickname from his commander and fellow Marines was the “Golden Boy” because of his great smile and undeniable witty character to keep his felllow Marine brothers uplifted and motivated.
