During the procession to his interment at Thomas Howell Cemetery, Weldon Springs, MO on July 26th, 2010, where Zack was laid to rest with full military honors, the citizens of several communities in West St. Louis County lined the streets, showing their respect. The procession included over 100 riders from the Patriot Guard. The deployment to Afghanistan in December, 2009 was Sergeant Fisher’s second deployment, after a previous deployment to Iraq from February, 2007 to November 2007. The pamphlet for the memorial services held at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on August 24th, 2010 described Zack as follows: “Sergeant Fisher was a Section Sergeant responsible for nine junior Soldiers.
