5th Annual 5K Walk/Run for the Heroes

Before the day gets away from us we wanted to thank the following people, companies and organizations for supporting our 5th Annual 5K Walk/Run for the Heroes because without them it would not be such a huge success.

Our emcee: Favazz (as well as KSHE 95 – Real Rock Radio and Sweetmeat).

Vinson Mortgage for helping us spread the word by being their Charity of the Month. They helped us bring media attention to not only the 5K, but also to the MMMF.

Our sponsors: American Legion Post 162 (Lemay, MO), Scott Credit Union (Edwardsville, IL) & Missouri Gateway Chapter, 101st Airborne.

Fredbird™ of the St. Louis Cardinals, Louie Blues of the St. Louis Blues, and the St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders for being there and getting everyone ready for the walk/run.

GoJet Airlines for their $5000 donation in memory of SGT Amanda Pinson Memorial to the MMMF yesterday.

Special thanks to Ella for raising $3003 with her lemonade stand in memory of SGT Zachary Fisher and all of our fallen military personnel. She is proof that one person can truly make a difference!

Warren Sign Company for donating the 5K Heroes Signs and the Sponsor Banners.

The Patriot Guard Riders for continually showing their support of our fallen and their families. What these men & women have done for this generation of Veterans, the fallen and their families is something incredibly special.

The Gateway Blue Star Mothers who have been there to help us and volunteer their time and service. Their sons or daughters are still serving and we have no doubt that they’re making them proud!

KJ TOMA – M&T Productions for supplying our sound system & services during the event.

Matt Wiegand for the t-shirt design (it was a huge hit this year!)

Dave Barbarick of Red Cloud Allied Enterprises, LLC for coming in to take pictures while working on very little sleep.

Lemay Fire Department for bringing the ambulance and having First Aid on standby.

Jason Harris and Walgreens for the water donation.

Every single volunteer who donated their time and passion in honoring our fallen. We may be a small grassroots non-profit, but we are mighty!

And last, but never least…thanks to each & every one of you who registered or donated to this years teams. To honor & remember those who gave all truly touches our hearts. It is our ultimate goal to have them honored & remembered for generations to come and without your support, it would not happen.
